Professional Development & Creative Team-Building Workshop

Confidence Day creates a safe space for imperfection.

Through a guided visual arts experience, participants are introduced to approachable drawing and painting techniques before being challenged to try something they may not initially believe they can do.

The experience creates opportunities to practice learning in front of others, making mistakes, receiving guidance, adjusting, and trying again. As artistic confidence grows, the conversation expands beyond the artwork to consider how perfectionism can become a barrier to learning, growth, and attempting something unfamiliar.

Confidence Day can be booked as a professional development or team-building experience for businesses, organizations, educators, and other professional groups.

You can't walk down the hallway of improvement until you walk through the doorway of imperfection.

 

Voice: Discovery

Creative Writing Workshop

Voice: Discovery explores the choices we make when turning an idea into words.

Through guided writing exercises and conversation, participants begin with three questions: Who are you speaking to? What are you trying to say? How do you want it to land?

From there, participants explore how choices involving rhythm, rhyme, word choice, storytelling, humor, clarity, complexity, and structure can shape the way an idea is communicated. The workshop isn't about teaching one “right” way to write, but discovering different tools and approaches participants can use to develop their own creative voices.

Voice: Discovery can be booked as a creative workshop for organizations, community groups, classrooms, conferences, and other settings interested in exploring writing and creative expression.
